Architetto, professore associato (ICAR/13 - Disegno Industriale) al DSA (Dipartimento di Scienze per l'Architettura) della Scuola Politecnica.
È stato ricercatore per l'Università di Cassino dal 1990 al 2000 e per il Politecnico di Milano dal 2000 al 2005. Si occupa principalmente delle discipline correlate al Design Navale e Nautico.
È coordinatore del Corso di Laurea Magistrale LM12 in Design Navale e Nautico (interateneo con il Politecnico di Milano), dove è titolare del Laboratorio di Design all’ultimo anno.
È coordinatore del Corso di Dottorato in Design per la Nautica e il Prodotto Sostenibile. È membro del Comitato direttivo dei Docenti della Scuola di Dottorato di Architettura e Design.
Dal 2012 è membro dell’Osservatorio per la Qualità della Formazione dell’Università degli Studi di Genova.
Dal 2013 è delegato del Direttore per la programmazione didattica del Dipartimento DSA.
Dal 2013 è componente della delegazione del Preside per il Polo della Spezia.
Dal 2013 è componente del Gruppo Organizzazione Didattica (GOD) della Scuola Politecnica.
È titolare del Laboratorio di Design, al terzo anno al Corso di Laurea di primo livello in Design del Prodotto e della Nautica.
È titolare di corsi sia alla Laurea in Ingegneria Nautica, sia alla Magistrale in Yacht Design (Engineering).
Collabora con il Politecnico di Milano per insegnamenti al Master Yacht Design.
È attivo nei rapporti internazionali avendo avviato partenariati con la Florida International University (USA), con l’Università di Warwick (UK), con l’ISD (Institut Supérieur de Design) di Valenciennes (F), con la MALTEPE University (Istanbul, TK) per attività formative internazionali sia a livello di Laurea, sia a livello di Alta Formazione post-laurea. In tali relazioni internazionali ha svolto attività di visiting professor con insegnamenti e conferenze di Yacht Design e Cruise Vessel Interior Design in lingua inglese.
Si occupa di yacht design e interni di navi da crociera dal 1980. È iscritto all'Ordine degli Architetti della Provincia di Genova.
RESUME

Associate Professor (ICAR/13 - Industrial Design) to DSA (Department of Sciences for Architecture) of the Polytechnic School.
He was a researcher assistant professor for the University of Cassino from 1990 to 2000 and the Milan Polytechnic from 2000 to 2005. It mainly deals with the disciplines related to Naval and Nautical Design.
Chair of the Master of Science LM12 in Design Navale e Nautico (Naval and Nautical Design) Interuniversity with Politecnico di Milano, he holds the teaching of the final Design Studio Workshop.
Chair of the PhD Program in Product and Marine Sustainable Design, he is also a member of the Steering Committee of the Faculty of the PhD School of Architecture and Design.
Since 2012 he is a member of the Observatory for the Quality of Education of the University of Genoa.
Since 2013 he is Director’s delegate for education programs of Dept. D.S.A.
Since 2013 he is member of the Dean’s delegation for the branch seat of La Spezia.
Since 2013 he is member of the education’s organization working group (G.O.D.) of the Polytechnic School.
At the Course of Bachelor of Science in Design del Prodotto e della Nautica (Product and Marine Design) he is in charge of the third year’s Design Studio Workshop.
He holds teachings both at the Bachelor courses in Ingegneria Nautica (Nautical Engineering), and the MSc in Yacht Design (Engineering).
In collaboration with Politecnico di Milano he is teaching at the Master Yacht Design.
He is active in international relations: he has introduced partnerships with Florida International University (USA), University of Warwick (UK), ISD (Institut Supérieur de Design) Valenciennes (F), MALTEPE University (Istanbul, TK) for international training at the Bachelor Degree, the Master of Science, and for Higher Education postgraduate level.
He has worked as a visiting professor with teachings and conferences in English both of Yacht Design and Cruise Vessel Interior Design.
He deals with yacht design and interiors of cruise ships since 1980. He is a member of the Architects Association of the Province of Genoa
