1) L'Associazione Edoardo Benvenuto bandisce la seconda edizione del Premio Edoardo Benvenuto (anno 2003).

2) Il premio è riservato a giovani ricercatori di età non superiore a 40 anni alla data di scadenza del bando (28 febbraio 2003).

3) Si concorre inviando un'opera originale (inedita o edita a partire dal 01.01.2000) che non sia stata premiata o segnalata in altri concorsi. L'opera deve riguardare le scienze per l'architettura, con particolare attenzione all'arte e alla scienza del costruire nel loro sviluppo storico. L'opera può essere presentata in lingua italiana, francese, inglese, spagnola o tedesca.

4) Le opere dovranno pervenire alla segreteria del Premio presso la sede dell'Associazione Edoardo Benvenuto entro e non oltre il 28 febbraio 2003, in plico raccomandato, in triplice copia, ben leggibili, con indicazione di nome, cognome, indirizzo, data di nascita, numero di telefono, eventuale e-mail e breve curriculum scientifico dell'autore. Le opere non verranno restituite agli autori e potranno essere consultate presso l'archivio dell'Associazione.

5) La giuria è composta da 3 esperti indicati dall'Associazione Edoardo Benvenuto. Il giudizio della giuria è inappellabile. La giuria si riserva la facoltà di non assegnare il premio qualora nessuna opera sia giudicata meritevole.

6) Al vincitore sarà attribuito un premio di 1000 Euro.

7) L'esito del concorso sarà reso noto entro il mese di Maggio 2003.

1) The Associazione Edoardo Benvenuto announces the second edition of the Edoardo Benvenuto Prize (year 2003).

2) The prize is addressed to young researchers with less than 40 years at the expiry date of the announcement (28 february 2003).

3) To participate it is necessary to submit an original published (after 01.01.2000) or unpublished work, which has not previously been awarded any prize or been referred to in any prior competition. The work should make reference to the art and science of building in their historical development. The work may be submitted in Italian, French, English, Spanish or German.

4) The works should be delivered to the prize secretary's office of the Associazione Edoardo Benvenuto by the 28th february 2003, by registered post, in triplicate, and should be completely legible, with indications of the name, surname, address, date of birth, telephone number, any e-mail address and a brief scientific curriculum of the author. The works will not be returned to their respective authors but will be available for consultation at the archive of the Associazione.

5) The jury will comprise 3 experts chosen by the Associazione Edoardo Benvenuto. The jury's decision will be final and irrevocable. The jury reserves the right to deny assignment of the prize where no work is considered to be worthy.

6) The winner will receive the sum of 1000 Euro as a prize.

7) The results of the competition will be notified by May 2003.
