UniGeSenior

UniGeSenior is an initiative of the University of Genoa aimed at a broad and diverse audience, not necessarily composed of seniors, who wish to approach the world of culture and research. This project represents an essential component of the University's Third Mission, committed to creating constant dialogue between the University and society.

In this context, the Department of Architecture and Design participates by offering lectures and cultural-scientific activities on topics related to the Department's disciplines.

The proposed activities include:

Traditional lectures, enriched by multidisciplinary meetings

Field experiences, such as excursions, organized trips, and visits to cities and throughout the region

Interactive seminars, which foster exchange between faculty, researchers, and the public

The lectures are delivered by a mix of experienced faculty and young scholars, including PhD students and recent PhD graduates.
This approach creates a bridge between innovative academic research and the city, promoting cultural and scientific exchange.

With over 100 enrollees in Architecture and Design activities, UniGeSenior demonstrates the strong interest the initiative generates beyond the University walls, offering all participants a unique and stimulating educational experience.
