The strategic planning and monitoring process of the Department of Architecture and Design follows a cyclical and integrated logic, designed to implement its quality strategy for teaching, research, and third mission/social impact.
Every three years, a Departmental Planning document (PDip) is prepared to concisely present the Department in terms of organization, activities, and available resources, highlighting strategic objectives, their correlation with University goals, and the Quality Assurance (QA) system adopted by the Department.
In the Departmental Monitoring document (MDip), prepared annually, a critical evaluation is conducted to highlight achieved results, progress status relative to set objectives, and, where necessary, to propose corrective actions. The Department's monitoring process analyzes and comments on specific indicators for each objective or strategic line.
At the end of each three-year period, or programming cycle, a Departmental Review document (RDip) is prepared, containing an evaluation of the degree of achievement of objectives. The document also includes an analysis of the effectiveness of the Department's organizational structure, with particular reference to the QA system.
