Preparing the File for the CNC Styrofoam Cutter

1. File Format

Required format: .SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics). This is a vector format compatible with CNC machines.

2. Work Area

Maximum work area: 1000 x 500 mm.

Maximum material thickness: 100 mm. Make sure the Styrofoam you bring conforms to these dimensions.

3. Reference Rectangle

Draw a 1000 x 500 mm reference rectangle in your file to delimit the work area.

4. File Structure

One file for each board: Each board of material must have a single .SVG file. Avoid overloading a file with multiple boards.

5. Closed Curve with No Overlaps

Each shape must be a closed curve with no overlaps. Open or overlapping curves will not be recognized by the machine.
